Professor Rissing has been my favorite professor at Cornell so far. I rate most of my profs very highly (from a previous school) I had one genuinely incompetent professor who should not have been teaching and wrote an honest review of them (no inflammatory wording or personal attacks, which can get a post removed) and the posting disappeared.The same prof had a few reviews of stuff like "love them! He is so good, especially the flow of the course during the COVID. Feigenson is one of the best teacher at cornell. Not much reading or work. Lively, entertaining, and understanding that sometimes students just don't get it. Try to meet his kids, they're adorable. One of the best lecturers I've had during my time at Cornell. There are plenty of opportunities that if you can't succeed, you can only blame yourself. He gives some extra credit and curves as well. No wonder there are almost 800 students in the class. He incorporates videos into his lectures and they are very very very interesting. Goated, Professor Rissing is an amazing professor.
