Invitational rhetoric differs from a traditional view of persuasive rhetoric that attempts to win over an opponent, or to advocate the correctness of a single position in a very complex issue (Bone et al., 2008). For this reason, the email to a boss should be composed using the existing rules and basics of professional communication.
